Panjo is a seahorse who has appeared in several episodes in the series.

Character highlights[]

In his debut appearance in Lost, Panjo first appears asking Polvina and Ester for help as they are heading to their first day at school. He takes them to a whale who is stuck in a Drylander net. After rescuing the whale and helping him reunite with his pod, he accompanies them as they take Polvina and Ester to school.

Panjo reappears in The Missing Crown, where he is ridden by Polvina and Ester when they discover that they are about to be late for school. The ensuing ride causes some trouble to some clownfish, a crab and the Turtle King with his steed, Pudge. In the third encounter, Ester finds herself holding the Turtle Royal Crown and tells Panjo to stop, throwing Polvina and Ester off him while also causing the crown to fall into a field of seaweed. After swimming away with Polvina and Ester upon seeing Drylander hooks in the area, Panjo brings the two back there when the Turtle King tasks them with searching for the crown. He is lured to a Drylander carriage through some seaweed on a hook, but he is stopped by Polvina and Ester before he can go any further. Later on, Panjo takes Polvina and Ester alongside the crab and baby clownfish on a ride after they help the former dig a new home for him.

In The Big Game, Panjo serves as Ester's steed in the playoff game for a place in the Flubberball Little League. When the ball goes down into the Abysmal Kingdom, Ester and Maurico go down with their seahorses to get it, but they get scared, shaking off their riders and returning to the top.

Panjo makes a brief appearance during Marcello's coma-induced dream in Grow Up, where Marcello is riding on him during a game of flubberball. When he scores numerous goals, making the others feel like they are not having any fun, the girls head off home. Marcello asks Hugo if he is scared, to which he tells him that he is scary. Marcello then asks Panjo if he is scary and he responds by throwing him off and swimming away.

Notes[]

  • Like with Bib, Panjo is not shown to have any problems communicating with any other character in the series.
    • This is likely because there is no Seahorse Royal Family in the series.
