Scooter is Angelica's pet angelfish who is featured in The Angel Fish.
Character history[]
When Angelica is looking for someone to look after Scooter for a day, Tubarina offers to do so, claiming that she can look after pets just as well as Polvina and Ester. When Angelica brings Scooter over to the Shark Palace the next day however, Tubarina oversightedly neglects him as she closes the door in front of him. She planned on having Scooter stay in a cupboard next to her staircase, but she relents and allows him to stay in her room with Gummy after Polvina and Ester voice their objections.
Struggling with her homework, Tubarina decides to see Polvina and Ester for help, asking Gummy to look after Scooter as she leaves a plate of seaweed for him. As the girls come back and look all around the palace, believing Scooter to be lost, he is revealed to have been sleeping under Tubarina's bed when he comes out and sees another angelfish eating a plate of seaweed. After letting their friends into the palace, they begin eating everything in the kitchen. Tubarina and the girls manage to find Scooter. After he and the angelfish play a joke on the girls, Tubarina throws them all out of her house just as Angelica arrives, believing that she invited all of Scooter's friends over because they thought he would be lonely. After hearing that Scooter and his friends had so much fun with Tubarina, Angelica tells her that she can look after them again the next week while she goes away with her family.
