The Giant Starfish is the thirtieth episode of the second season of Sea Princesses.
Synopsis[]
Bia wakes Ester in the middle of the night and asks for her help. The next day, Ester, Tubarina and Polvina swim down to the Abysmal Kingdom to find giant starfish swarming all over Bia's home.
Plot[]
Bia comes to the Starfish Palace in the night and asks Ester for her help, along with Polvina and Tubarina’s. They head down to the Abysmal Kingdom the next morning and Bia shows them to the Abysmal Palace, where giant starfish from the Ice Oceans have taken over the palace. Ester goes to talk with the giant starfish, who tell her that they were hoping she would come to be their queen.
Later on, Ester tells her friends that she wants to let the starfish down gently, but they realise that she is loving being a queen when she likes the statue they built for her. Ester is convinced to tell the giant starfish that she can’t stay. She does so and strangely, the starfish revel in celebration, revealing that they want to go with her so they can take over Salacia and rule it as the Starfish Empire. When Ester realises this, she tells them that she won’t help them, which causes them to become unhappy.
The girls hide back in the palace, where a scared Slipper comes back in and hides. Polvina gets an idea and they sneak out of the palace with Slipper, hiding under a rug. However, the giant starfish discover this and begin pursuing Slipper as the girls scatter. The girls hide inside the statue, where Polvina gets another idea, telling Ester to give the giant starfish what they want by leading them to Salacia.
As the giant starfish arrive at the statue where the girls are, Ester comes out of hiding and leads them up to Salacia. The starfish begin advancing until they realise that they cannot bear the bright light and warmth. With them unable to continue, Ester orders the starfish to go back to the Ice Oceans, promising to come and visit if they are good. Bia farewells the girls and goes back to the Abysmal Kingdom.
